Ascent Trip Report

We got up early and started our summit in the dark. Our plan was to watch the sun rise from the summit but we missed it by about 20 minutes. Still, it was nice being the first to summit that day and we did a great job of avoiding the crowds. Again, some snow still left near 14,000' but still manageable. The morning ascent was colder than I had expected. The board walk was a real treat compared with the bushwacking we had to do last year through the willows.
