Ascent Trip ReportRobinson Trip #30 with Sierra Club. Met on Angeles Crest Highway (#2) just above the 210 Fwy at 6:45 PM. Then 45 of us carpooled up Angeles Crest Hightway, turned right on Mount Wilson Road, then stopped at the Eaton Saddle just 2.5 miles up the road (about 16 miles total). We hiked from there up the Mt. Lowe fire road to Markham Saddle, then on to Mt. Lowe. We watched the fireworks below from 8:45 PM - 9:45 PM then hiked back with headlamps on. Round trip hike was 3 miles.
