Ascent Trip Report

After two failed attempts (one because of wind, a second because of full-blown thunderstorms), I finally started early enough (about 7 AM MDT) to summit. Even starting this early, there was much more wind than predicted (only in places which unfortunately included the summit), and by the time I summitted, the sky was almost completely overcast with threatening clouds.

With regards to the route, once one reaches the sharp ridge at a little over 11,600' there is a faint use trail on the west side of the ridge that is helpful getting across the sharp part. Once across, the ridge is easily climbed (class 2) to obtain the summit.
