Ascent Trip ReportFrom Timber Creek. There were hundreds of domestic sheep along the route grazing, and there were a good number of sheep herding dogs out there keeping track of the sheep. At one point, one of the dogs had me pinned on a hill growling at me every time I moved. After a while, a sheep herder came along and ordered the dog to leave me alone. Even with all the sheep, this is a very pretty area - the view from the summit was beautiful and I actually saw two big horn sheep up near the summit. I wonder what the big horn sheep think of their domesticated relatives?
