Ascent Trip Report

An absolute gem of a hike. We started at the Cypress Mountain parking lot. It was a short 5km, with some moderate but maintained switchbacks, up to the peak with its absolutely stunning view of the sapphire-blue Howe Sound (essentially a fjord) and all the snowy peaks rising out of it. Finer than Grouse Grind and more accessible than Stawamus Chief, it is destined to become a tourist hotspot.
