Ascent Trip ReportCompleted a great 6.25 mile loop hike of Windham High Peak and Burnt Knob from the Peck Road trailhead to the Big Hollow Trailhead. The distribution of elevation gain for this hike is so gradual that the initial 1500+feet of climbing seemed to fly by. The trail was in a great state of repair and never difficult to negotiate.
Multiple viewpoints (four separate ones for Windham and at least three for Burnt Knob) are available on this trail so it is to the hiker's benefit to take his/her time and savor the vistas.
