Ascent Trip Report

A small group from Las Vegas Mountaineers Club started from the Horseshoe Meadows TH at approximately 6:30 a.m. Although I've already climbed this earlier this summer, Lorraine hadn't, and it was a pleasant hike. I decided to spice it up some by breaking off from the group when we returned to Old Army Pass and headed up to the crest to climb Cirque Peak, which didn't add any significant distance to the day, but did add another SPS peak to my now collection of four! Only 243 more to go. The stats below are for the entire trip, including Cirque.
