Ascent Trip Report

Overall a pretty easy hike, we took the most direct way up and made pretty good time (maybe 75 mins to the top). The summit was totally deserted and our group was able to enjoy the nice views/weather for at least an hour uninterrupted. It was very peaceful. We took a longer way back as I normally tend to do if possible (knee surgery 04). We enjoyed nice views but it was often depressing seeing the devastation the recent fires caused. I'd say almost 99% of the trees on this route are dead and the only wildlife observed were 4-5 hawks in the distance.
