Ascent Trip Report

Started at the Devils Creek Trailhead at 11am road our bikes about 7.5 miles up the trail just above the brush line. Encountered 50 feet of chest deep willow trees around the creek and then open country the rest of the way. Hiked up the small drainage to the 2850' pass between Washington and Devils Peak. From here we made our way up Washington 4810' via the north slopes running into several caribou along the way. On the summit at 2:30pm. Awesome views from the summit along with great wildflowers all over in the alpine terrain. Just a few patches of snow left. We dropped back down to the 2850' pass and hiked up the south ridge to Point 4015 and then down and up Devils Peak 4400' seeing more caribou up here as well. Beautiful alpine terrain! We dropped down the east slopes of Devils Peak back down to our bikes and rode back to the car. Back at the car by 7pm. A few photos from this trip along with a hike up Victor Creek Trail:
