Ascent Trip Report

Asended this after doing Sugarloaf via the HPS route. We just climbed from the Sugarloaf HPS trailhead. Very steep but not far. Of the Two Peaks, sugarloaf and Lightning Gulch, Lightning Gulch was my favorite. But the best part of the entire trip was the Juniper Forest that you pass thru on the way up Sugarloaf. We had threatening clouds throughout the day, but no thunder or rain. Made for perfect temperature for a July climb.
