Started from Manker Flats, climbed up the steep Register Ridge trail and crossed over Devils Backbone directly up to Mt. Harwood (9552 ft). Then returned to Devils Backbone for the remaining climb up to Mt. Baldy summit (10064 ft). Continued hiking over to West Baldy (9988 ft) then went cross country to intersect with the Ski Hit trail. Took this route down and had a break at the Ski Hut and took the side trip over to San Antonio Falls to soak our feet. Even saw a big horn sheep on the Ski Hut trail.
