Ascent Trip Report

Gated at about 350' (since January 7), which for some reason I wasn't expecting, but I didn't want to waste the drive. The spur road that heads north to the summits has a TON of blowdown - it took forever to get to the summits after turning off the main road. In many locations there are dropoffs on one side with vertical rises on the other, meaning you have to go through, over, or under all the trees.

I would not recommend going up there this summer. I'd wait for at least a few feet of snow. That last road is in awful condition.
