Ascent Trip Report

I took the Humphreys Peak trail to the ridgeline, where I turned right instead of left. But then, when the main trail descended and the ridgeline continued to Agassiz Peak, there was a sign saying something about the area being closed for some BS reason - I ignored it and proceeded to the summit. I'm sure the area was more disturbed due to the closure than it would have been otherwise because without a maintained trail more ground was likely to be trampled upon. It really irks me when my government takes my money to keep me out of public (i.e. for the people) lands.
