Ascent Trip Report

This was the first 4,000 footer of the year, i had always planned on doing this hike. I took my friend Gerrick on the hike in hopes that we would last my plan to hike the carter dome, s. carter, and middle carter. We did it, it was a slight incline to the top of carter dome it was easier than i thought it would be. It was harder to go up south carter from the zeta pass. We saw a pair of white minks along the way at zeta pass... it was awesome. There was great side view of the mountains at the top of carter dome. there was so much snow still right around the 3,800 mark, there was snow all the way to the top, it did slow us down a little from peak to peak but we held up and completed the 14.2 mile hike.
