Heavy rain uring the evening. Good nights sleep in a bed. Took buprofin to see if it will reduce pain in my right knee.
Shelly shuttled me to Indian Grave gap after breakfast at McDonalds in mid-morning for a sb AT hike. Mostly downhill. Met Maria nb just past Curley shelter, she wanted to know the details of the Soprano's last 4-5 episodes.
Back to the hostel at 14h00 hours, Shelly shuttle a number of hikers to town, completed all of my errands. Called Rose, discussed the July 1st trip to Michael's ...... Tim and Julie will join us. Michael, Marcus and I will participate in the Peachtree race on the 4th.
Heavy rains once again this evening.......lucky so far, fairly dry and most of the rains have been in the late afternoon. Totals to date......spent 1130$, 347 miles, 175 3/4 hours of hiking, 79000 feet of climbing.
