Ascent Trip Report

Clients hit the exhaustion wall at 19,000'. Steve, Angela, Lal and I climbed up to top of fixed line and cleaned the pitch then returned with team to base camp.

Ideal to base camp at the high lake and get an early start: 12:00 for larger group (2:00 for small team). Route makes its way up through small snow fields separated by high quality rock. One 10 foot pitch of 5.3 rock. Otherwise it is simply a beautiful alpine route to 18,500 where it becomes ridge/face climb. Fixed lines often start here and ascend for 2,000 feet of angled climbing to the summit ridge and summit.
