Visited gathland state park w lot of civil war history, dahgren park and washington monument w great views - on the very long south mountain ridge.
Break at dogpatch tavern "biker bar", at turner gap us40, 1/2 mile off T.
Exceptional humidity the last 4 days, I sweated just standing around.
"THE HEART THAT GIVES .... GATHERS"
