Ascent Trip Report

Parson Bald is located in the western Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina. The border between the two states crosses the summit. While there is a large patch of grass at the summit, there is no view. Parson Bald is less than a mile from Gregory Bald. The Wolf Ridge Trail ascending the south side is slightly overgrown as it approaches the summit, but still fairly easy to follow.
