Ascent Trip ReportI followed what was once the Priscilla Brook Trail until a little above the 3100' level, at which point I lost all trace of the trail. I then curved back toward the south and made my own route through mostly open forest up to the summit.
It was a cold winter day, and the temperature was only 1 degree F at the trailhead, and possibly double digits below zero at higher elevations. Despite the tree cover, it felt windy at the summit, making for a short visit. I descended a different direction, crossing over the west peak of Pliny Mountain.
