Ascent Trip Report

the day started nicely, but we got a late start out of the tent and the clouds were building up big time as we approached the summit. I ran up to the summit on my own while Taylor and the dog started down. No sooner had I snapped a few pictures and signed the registry than a big crash of thunder that sounded like it was under me! I scurried down as fast as I could and caught up to the others below the pass/coular leading to the large scree field on the N. W. side of the mountain. As we descended we kept an eye to the very dark clouds and lightning chasing us back to camp in the meadow. Dinner and Bedtime :)
