Ascent Trip Report

Parked in the quarry car park & ascended to the north. Wayfinding a bit difficult in the woods - just too many confusing, intersecting paths. Much easier once you break out onto the fell. Fascinating limestone region with extensive pavements with clints & grikes and rare regional flora. Visited the trig point and also the allegedly slightly higher point 110m to the ENE; unfortunately the fog was so thick I couldn't really give an opinion on relative heights. I'd love to come back in the Spring & when there's a view!
