Ascent of Lindley Moor on 2012-12-29| Date: | Saturday, December 29, 2012 | | Ascent Type: | Successful Summit Attained | | Peak: | Lindley Moor | | Location: | UK-England | | Elevation: | 291 m / 958 ft |
Ascent Trip ReportA splendid multi-family crepuscular outing to walk off some of the Christmas excesses and exercise the dogs. The aesthetically superior summit is the trig point atop a rocky outcrop - a modest challenge given the greasy nature of the stone. However this point is only 291 metres whereas the true HuMP is a 292m spot height a little to the west, just near the telecommunications compound with its intriguing Keep Out Poisonous Snakes sign.
