We'll be starting from Route 4 a little Southeast of Rangely Lake and hiking the AT. Over the next 4 nights and 5 days, we'll tag Saddleback, The Horn, Abraham, Spaulding, Sugarloaf, South Crocker, bushwack to Redington, and back on the AT to Crocker North. Next stop is the road crossing of Rt 16 & 27, where we will have staged a car with some supplies. Then a short distance to a shelter for the night. Next day we climb the Bigelow mountains, West Peak and Avery. Then back down and back to civilization.
If there is any interest in staying another day or two, we may camp out at a camping area on Flagstaff lake, which is a hop skip and jump from the Bigelow mountains.
