Ascent Trip Report

The area around here is crisscrossed with access roads to windmills and natural gas storage tanks, but I think access is gated. I took Coppock Rd. north off 164 to a right on graveled Kevin Rd. The closest spot I found was next to a microwave tower leaving me slightly less than a half mile away by GPS. A path through the wood above the tower got me to a clearing around a natural gas tank, and across the clearing to one of the graveled access roads. This headed downhill close to a little pond and then up (hence the total elevation gain much larger than the 80 foot difference in elevation between the start point and the hp) to a spot 0.15 mi. west of the hp. The bushwhack up was moderately rugged. No views--not a very worthwhile peak unless you're doing the Pa. top 50 as I am.
