Ascent Trip ReportOn my way back to Lyon airport from ascents of Aigoual, Lozere and Mezenc, I couldn´t resist popping up this attractive volcanic plug in the late afternoon sunshine. From the east side an obvious path (with variations) ascends to the bouldery summit. Views outstanding with maybe the clearest air of the year, with Mont Blanc starting to turn orange in the pre-sunset light.
