Ascent Trip Report

This is an easy hike, but the flora in the area are about the least friendly I have ever seen. Cat Claw and countless spiky cacti, are rough. But really sets it apart is the Teddy Bear Cholla that is everywhere. Do yourself a favor and bring a fro comb and some needle nose pliers to get the stuff unembedded from your hide WHEN it gets attached. We took a scrambling route up that I liked better than the DPS route we took down, just beware of rockfall in that gully.
