Ascent Trip Report

Hiked this with Passaconaway on a beautiful November day. Hiked with Cullen and Luna. After taking quite a bit longer than expected to get there we started under cloudy skies at the Dicey's Mill Trailhead/Blueberry Ledge Trailhead. Parked in a field and walked across the street through someones driveway. The clouds quickly burnt off and we were hiking up the Blueberry Ridge Trail. This trail had multiple clearings and exposed rock slabs. Towards the top it got very steep and a bit icy. We threw on the microspikes and had to coax/carry Luna up the steepest parts. The summit was exposed and had excellent views. The trail over to Passaconaway was relatively easy but had quite a few blowdowns from Hurricane Sandy, with just a short ascent at the end. Nothing notable on Passaconaway. We then returned to the car and went back home.
