Ascent Trip Report

Planned this trip for the peak of fall color in VT. We camped the previous night in a wooden lean-to in Smuggler's Notch state park. But the next morning turned out to be rainy, foggy and muddy. The fog never lifted for the brief time we were above the treeline, and disappointingly, we left without any summit views whatsoever.
