Ascent Trip Report

Franken-Hike (What a bushwhack).

7:25am - Depart Greeley Ponds/Kanc parking lot
7:50am - Trail junction, right + up
8:40am - Osceola East summit
9:04am - Osceola summit, ~10 mins on the summit
10:27am - Osceola Mid (bushwhack, signed Hiker Ed log
11:00am - Osceola West (bushwhack, signed Hiker Ed log)
1:05pm - FINALLY - the east pond trail (for ~200m). Start bushwhacking up to Scar's.
2:00pm - Scar Ridge Southeast, Signed log book
2:49pm - Scar Ridge East, Signed log book
3:20pm - Scar Ridge-Peak 3400, no log book
4:30pm - Scar Ridge-Middle Peak, Signed log book. Decided to head toward east pond - no good, cliffs and thick. Bushwhacked down to kanc.
5:23pm - Bottom of "scar" (rock slide area), fell and ripped wrist open. Good thing I had medical kit.
7:00pm - Kancamangus - Finally, done bushwhacking....
7:35pm - Back at car.
