Ascent Trip Report

Rice Peak is nice peak with great views of the Oracle Ridge from the town of Oracle all the way to the summit of Mount Lemmon. There is a 4x4 road to the summit, so with the right vehicle one can decide how much or how little of a hike one wants.

Of course the real reason for peakbaggers to get this summit is the Pinal county highpoint on the north ridge about a few hundred feet below the summit. From the summit there is what appears to be the remains of an old road going to the county highpoint.
