Ascent Trip Report

A "simple" ridge run from the Marshall Pass TH turned into an epic battle with wind/ The route is straightforward, but rougher than the topo map would indicate. I climbed ona day with constant 30+ mph winds. I'm sure some gusts were above 50 mph, and very possibly 70mph. I was actually unable to stand upright, let alone move forward, through some of these gusts. Thus, my descent was just as slow as my ascent. This peak would be a lot of fun in August.
