Ascent Trip Report

Temp. about 34 degrees. Not to windy at parking area till we summited Giant Ledges. Then the wind picked up alot had to put on rain jacket for wind breaker and crampons cause of ice and snow going down off Giant Ledges to col to Panther. After we were in col we took it all off. At 3500 ft. mark there was ice and snow but could walk around it. Got to summit and put crampons on for walk back down to 3500 ft. mark.. Did not stay at summit because it was windy and cold. Time we reached summit was 10:00 am. Went down passed Giant Ledges and found a nice spot to eat lunch off the trail up from spring around the other side of big rocks. That was the first time we seen anybody on the trail. We seen 10 people on the trail in less than 30 min.. Back at car at 1:15.
