Ascent Trip Report

Highest point in the Grand (Eastern) Luberon.

We parked near Auribeau to the north and followed waymarked paths along and up through the woods to the summit area. A large fenced-off telecommunication compound straddles the top but the highest natural ground is probably by the perimeter fence. Interesting seat on top of a pole for amateur stylites to climb and from which to contemplate the surroundings. Great views from the ridge in all directions, from Ventoux in the north to Saint Victoire in the south.
