Ascent Trip Report

7 hours up, 3 hours down. Climbed alongside retired surgeon Hal Davis from Taos, NM. We encountered 50-60mph sustained winds on the summit and decended via the dangerous William's Lake trail. Snow levels were 1-4 feet and in the La Cal Basin the creek crossing was still entirely under ice and covered in snow which made it quite more dangerous than previously presumed.
