Ascent Trip ReportVia North -Frosty Trail. Beautiful Ridge hike. Drop before false summit on scree to lake, then traverse south on east side of basin. Up granit boulders and slabs to easr west running ridge. East to highpoint, then down cl3 at times ridge to larch and heather camp on saddle north of Castle. Went east, attained east ridge and up south side of ridge to summit. Looks like well worth more visits for the climb routes. Larch are very yellow, some past, some just turning. an early season for them.
