Ascent Trip ReportRecovering from plantar faceitis, so rode and pushed mountain bike to summit base. Crazy ride down. First 2 miles to Research station are the toughest. Decents on way up make this tougher, but still the easiest 14K. Grandview Camp with veiws across to Palisades, and the Bristlecone Parks make this a great place. The lack of water keeps bears and crowds down. Cool abandoned mine below Grandview.
