Ascent Trip Report

After climbing Hoodoo Noel and I headed back down to the shelter and then up to Libby Lake. Traversed around to the SW side of the Lake and then tried to figure out which gully looked the most pleasant. We took one of the middle options, some ice and rock hard snow in the center of the gully made for some interesting scrambling up and down, a little harder than we had expected. Once we made the ridge we headed West to tag Libby (Raven Ridge), turned around and traversed East along the ridge just under a mile to the summit of Corax (also Raven Ridge). A cool cave/tunnel is used to gain the East side of the summit block.

Turned back to re-traverse the ridge and back down the same main gully we came up, but took the climbers right option around a rib on the way down. A long snow/ice finger in this side of the gully as well. Back to the car at 5:10pm. Didn't see anyone all day. We were the 6th party to sign the summit register in 2012.

11 hours 10 minutes car to car to do all three peaks.
10+ hours in the car to get there and back.
