Ascent Trip Report

Overnight trip. Drove up Saturday morning, got on the trail a little after 10 after a leisurely breakfast at the Tilton Diner. With good weather in town it was a little overcast in the notch. We started up the Falling Waters Trail by the time we reached the summit ridge it was very windy and quite cold, probably 45 without the wind. Hiked along the summit ridge over Lincoln to Lafayette. From the summit of Lafayette, down the Greenleaf Trail there was some cold rain. We spent the night at the Greenleaf Hut before coming down in beautiful weather on Sunday Morning.
