Ascent Trip Report

Solo Ascent. Spent previous night in Thorton. Arrived trailhead - 8:30 AM. Reached summit 11:00 AM. Stood on Mt. Starr King (3907')on way. Rain threatened all day. Met one other hiker, young lady from Boston on way, see pictures taken by her. Left Waumbek summit at 11:30 AM and arrived back at trailhead at 1:30 PM. Began raining in earnest at 2:00 PM. Great and lucky day. (No stumbles or falls)
