Ascent Trip ReportAfter Summiting Cascade, we headed over on the muddy trail (rained the night before) to the summit of Porter, my second 46er! We only took about 10 minutes to reach the summit, then we stopped to eat some crackers and cheese before making our way back down.
On the way down, we popped into a few lookout spots and rock outcroppings before heading to the trailhead very quickly. We managed to get to the bottom in around 40 minutes. After we returned to the trailhead, we made our way to the Lake Placide Brewery for some FireFish and a beer sampler before the drive home to Ottawa.
