Ascent Trip Report

Beautiful day - started around 9:40 AM with no one else in PA at Woodland Valley Campground. Made it to Witt fine but my stomach was grumbling so I ate lunch on the Witt and dried my shirt - sent a picture of the view to Judy and Janie then hoofed it over to Cornell in what seemed like no time at all. Met Dan who was on his way to Slide! On the way back to Witt, my quads hardened up so I drank some coconut water on top of the Witt and rested for 20 minutes. Dan showed up saying he decided not to go to Slide because it was too late. We talked and then hiked down to the PA together. Great views from the Witt, not so much from Cornell, but the view of Slide from the Northwest slope of Cornell is worth the extra 0.1 / 0.2 miles.
