Ascent Trip ReportBig Tom was only a half mile north of Mount Craig, so I decided to continue on the Deep Gap Trail over to that peak. Unfortunately, there was no summit view from Big Tom. From that point, I made the return trip back over Mount Craig and to the parking area below the summit of Mount Mitchell.
