Ascent Trip ReportI took Blue Knob Rd. south off Pa. 164. Just a bit north of the state park boundary, I took a dirt road (left) (unmarked but labeled Ski Gap rd. on my Garmin map). About a mile in (sorry I didn't watch the odometer) I took a right uphill onto a more rugged dirt track through an old gate. This one is more like an ATV trail than a road. My Jeep made it up to about 2400 feet and about a third of a mile (by GPS) from the hp coordinates). The track was quite steep from there. Just below the crest I passed a small abandoned trailer (maybe used as hunter's blind). The trail heads down shortly but a smaller track jags off to the right and then back up to the highest spot.
