Ascent Trip ReportStarted from the Cracker Lake trailhead, but did not follow trail. Bushwack up to goat trail, then followed this around to the NE side and into the Snow Moon Basin. This is a very beautiful lake basin, seldom visited. We paused for a break just above the lakes, then proceeded south. We had some rock scrambling through a cliff band. Then we came out on a tallus/scree slope which continued as a steep hike to the summit. Weather was quite warm, very little breeze. A couple of us split from the main group at the summit to descend different routes. I went down the south side towards Cracker Lake. Hoping for a scree slope run, but found very little scree. Was more tallus rock. Once at Cracker Lake, pleasant hike out on trail.
