Ascent Trip ReportI climbed this in 1994 but remembered an unpleasant direct-up-the-scree approach from Williams Lake. So this time we started in the Taos ski area but ascended via the Bull of the Woods route and very pleasant it was too. Much nicer with paths through woods and meadows with a variety of views along the way. Over the top of Mount Walter to the summit where we met the first people of the day. We then noted a new graded zig-zagging path down to Williams Lake and took that for speed rather than aesthetics back to the valley.
