Ascent Trip ReportTurnoff on Cherry Glen Road, a few miles SW of Vacaville; .3 miles to the North, go right on Pleasant Valley Road; 3 miles to the North, go left on Gates Canyon Road (marked for selling Xmas trees); go 3.7 miles up 500' to gate (marked No Tresspassing) at end of paved road (past one section of unpaved road). Hike up a steep 1000' to saddle between Vaca and Signal Hill; then turn right along slowly rising ridge past several groups of microwave towers to highest group 500' above saddle
