Ascent Trip Report

This was a three day backpack to climb Mount Langley and Cirque Peak. On day one, Rick Chval and I backpacked from Horseshoe Meadow to Cottonwood Lake # 4, where we set up camp. On day two, we day hiked up the trail to New Army Pass, then climbed Mount Langley via its class 1 south slope. Afterwards, Rick and I returned to New Army Pass, then followed the class 1 ridge around to Cirque Peak. After summiting, we returned to our camp at Cottonwood Lake # 4 via New Army Pass and the trail. On the third Day, Rich and I backpacked out to the vehicle. Please see my 10-04-80 Cirque Peak trip report for additional trip stats.
