Ascent Trip ReportFrom US 83 I turned right on EW33 a bit more than a mile n. of the state line and drove west to NS116 immediately north of the westernmost of the 5 Beaver County hp candidates. The road virtually passes over this one. Just a smidgeon south I turned left through an open fence gate and down a track( amidst cattle as in several other points today) past water tanks to a spot about 150 feet south of the next set of hp coordinates. Generally flat, walked about a little bit to make sure. Next I proceeded south to the state line road. The third point is up a short track to a functioning well. Put your foot down and call it good. Number 4 involved the longest walk of the five about 0.2 mi n. of the road to again a flat area with the hp coordinates. The last is next to a slight rise on the road back to the highway. These are all close together and less effort than perhaps it sounds. Total walking for all five points combined about a half mile with virtually no elevation gain.
