Ascent Trip Report

Visiting Yellowstone National Park with my wonderful family and did the old mt Washburn road. It was a very pleasant hike that took about 4 hours with my unfit family including about 30 minutes on the summit. This was also the first mountain I have climbed since I had surgery on both of my legs for overuse injuries after I ran for 24 hours in 2011. I just had the 2nd surgery 5 weeks ago and I had absolutely no pain! I highly recommend this hike with beautiful scenery to anyone visiting Yellowstone NP.
