Ascent Trip ReportHiked with BHMG with 6 other people. Started at Lafayette Place Campground. Left trailhead at 10:45am. Route was the Lonesome Lake Trail, Hi-Cannon Trail, Kinsman Ridge Trail, Rim Trail, Cannon Mountain summit, Rim Trail, Kinsman Ridge Trail, Northeast Cannonball summit, Kinsman Ridge Trail, Lonesome Lake Trail, Around Lonesome Lake Trail, Lonesome Lake Hut, Cascade Brook Trail, Lonesome Lake Trail. Weather was questionable, but turned out to be pretty descent with overcast skies in the morning, clearing to sun in the afternoon with some fog at times. Did get some rain in late afternoon, but only lasted 15-20 minutes. Trails were in good shape except that it rained the night before and many rocks and roots were very slippery.
